The 'Local Electricity Bill' will be re-introduced in Parliament on Weds 10 June, immediately after Prime Minister's Questions. If MPs support it it will proceed to a second reading and may become law. If you think the possibility of local supply (however complicated in actuality) is worth having, please ask your MP to attend on Weds and support. Here are some resources to help:

"Please support the Local Electricity Bill and please attend its re-introduction debate in the House of Commons after PMQs on Wednesday 10th June. [Maybe add some local context about not being able to 'supply' the energy you generate.]
The Bill is not the whole answer. We need government support (as it acknowledged recently that it must support onshore renewables to meet net-zero targets). Community energy is essential to achieving the net-zero transition and also delivers 12-13 times the social and community benefit of commercial installations. Our Parliamentary Briefing (4 sides) gives more detail and some of the ways government should support community energy to play its vital role. bit.ly/CEEbriefing Please take up its offer to meet to discuss how you can help get more support for community energy."
Don't forget to add your (project's) postal address so they know you're in their constituency.
