High Winds Community Energy Society is currently one of three community energy enterprises owning Mean Moor Wind Farm in Cumbria. In a bid to make the Wind Farm work more effectively for the benefit of both its members and the community, High Winds now intends to become the sole community owner, by raising up to £5.7 million from the issue of Loan Notes and Shares.
Loan Notes and/or Shares may be acquired in the following ways:
- Loan Notes offering 3% or 4% annual interest (subject to availability)
- 2020 £1 Shares offering 4% to 5% annual interest
