Accrington Eco Fest 2023 is a free, family-friendly event promoting all things environmentally friendly.
There will be live music, school performances, eco-friendly food and drink, activities and more!
Sharenergy will have a stall at the event where you can find out more about PROSPECTS Community Energy's plans for Coach Road Solar Meadow in Oswaldtwistle. The project proposed is a 2 megawatt (peak) solar array at the 3.5 hectare site. It is expected to be the largest community owned energy scheme in Lancashire and should generate 1,760,000 kilowatt hours of electricity every year, equivalent to powering 475 houses.
