Our speakers for the call include;
- Max Ansell, OVO's PPA Originator Manager; will be giving an introduction to OVO PPAs, including Subsidy Free REGOs. We will also hear about OVO's new Community Power Project they are running in collaboration with Ambition Community Energy.
- Additionally we will be joined Solvita Vebere a Project Asset Manager for Bright Renewables who will provide their insights into PPA's and their experience of negotiating PPS's for their community energy organisations.
CEE Updates on the call will include;
- The government has launched a call for evidence on the Barriers to Community Energy Projects. This is an opportunity. CEE’s Policy and Advocacy team will give a quick run through of what the call for evidence includes, some advice on how to write an effective response and a call out to ask partner organisations to submit their own responses. A more detailed webinar workshop will be held on Wednesday 15 May, 10-11am to share learning and thinking to inform your responses. You can sign up to attend for free here.
- 2024 State of the Sector update, Phil Coventry will join the call to provide an update on the new SOTS portal and survey and be able to answer any questions about this years survey and the new portal.
